I just had the HKS V3 supercharger installed on my 2015 BRZ and the supplied flash editor program version 7.03 does not recognize my 2015 ECU, if anyone has the 7.07 or newer version I will be more than happy to PayPal $20 to have the initialization files emailed to me. Please PM me if you have the files, thanks!

I've already contacted HKS but they're currently closed and am getting a little antsy.. hahaha
Just replied to your PM.

I guess you are talking about this "fuel upgrade kit":

http://www.hksusa.com/fr-s-brz-fuel-upgrade-kit/

It was issued for the v2 kit. Looks exactly like stock (just green instead of yellow plastic) and is about 360cc capacity. I installed it together with my v2 kit initially. But don't recommend it for such a price. Even HKS USA is suggesting DW 700c for the kit now.

That kit is recommended for the V2 kit, but could also be used with the V3 kit with custom tuning running gasoline.

We recommend DW 700cc injectors if running E85. That is also what the HKS E85 tune is setup for.

Big thumbs up to Torry@HKSUSA for taking care of me! Will have the tune installed and (hopefully) have the car running by the end of tomorrow. Great customer service, went above and beyond IMO. Very glad I went with HKS and their supercharger!

I see that in Japan is still continued V2, isn't it? I see that they powered up to 302 PSI with fuel kit (assuming they use 102 RON Japan fuel). Is V3 US kit able to power up over 302 PSI with Euro fuel 98/100 RON?

The V2 kit is still available but there really isn't any reason to go with it over the V3.

The two kits are very similar, but the V3 kit uses different piping, no restrictor plate, and different pulley. So if the V2 kit can put down 302 PS, then the V3 kit can do it even easier.

It's the same supercharger for both kits. But the Flash Editor with HKS tune is an option on the V2 kit only for JDM vehicles. The V3 kit Flash Editor only works with USDM vehicles. I don't know the specifics of which grade of fuel the JDM FE for the V2 kit was tuned on, but the USDM FE for the V3 kit was tuned for 91 octane ((RON + MON) / 2) US spec fuel. I'm sure you can run 98 or 100 RON fuel just fine, but you would need to have your own custom tune.

Our FR-S is on E85 and has the upgraded fuel injectors (DW 700cc) and put down 317 HP on a Mustang Dyno, so 302 PS on 98/100 RON should be reasonable to achieve with upgraded injectors. You can always change the pulley size as well and make even more power if you have the fuel and tune to support it. The supercharger itself is good for over 400 HP.

...thanks for support! I will ask if Fensport, as usual, can assist me here in Europe if I bought US kit.

Supercharger oil reservoir leaking oil, should a tighter clamp with a screw to tighten be better than the provided ones.

Man...you shouldn't have a problem there. Have you verified that the clamp you are using is the correct size via the stamping on the clamp? There are a few sizes that appear to be identical but are not...for example, there is a 13mm and a 13.8mm. Also, make sure the hose is basically pushed up against the bottom of the reservoir. Hope you figure it out.

New clamp is on, and cleaned a little oil off near the top hose, but I'm still seeing a bright layor of oil. I still use my finger to see if fresh and it is. And now my oil filter might have a bad seal, since my engine bay is being covered with black marks and oil is noticed around the oil filter. :/ any helpful advice is useful to me
