I've reached out to my dealer regarding my Bluetooth issues, I'll report back if we are able to sort it out at all.

I read it in the Nav Owner's Manual (pg. 244 under About USB Devices). It describes the supported USB memory standards and says "Supported Capacities: 16 MB to 8 GB"

The more I've looked into it, the more it seems to be a Samsung problem. I am going to try my Motorola Atrix and see if I have any problems, as well. But, I am going to take your advice and update, ASAP. Coincidentally, I had just tried to update a few moments ago, but the installation failed.

I will report back with my results in both cases.

Mind guiding me through the update process via Kies? I'm hardly familiar with it, and it's making me wait 24hrs to try and download the update again.

Download Kies onto your computer, search for updates and then plug in your phone via usb. It should prompt you to update the software.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, my phone is the GSII Skyrocket on AT&T and they have yet to release the update.

Fortunately, however, that hasn't stopped the people with the knowledge from proceeding accordingly. I figured out a way to get ICS, and my bluetooth now seems to be working well, as it should. I made a quick thread on how I did it, here: http://http://www.ft86club.com/forum...230#post277230

Solved Random bluetooth disconnects on BRZ NAV

I just picked up my BRZ Limited over the weekend and I have been having a blast. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and noticed that I would get random Bluetooth disconnects and then 20-30 seconds later a reconnect notice. It would happen every 5 to 15 minutes and was very irritating. After extensive online searches I ran across a thread that explained the problem was due to the Android going into a deep sleep mode which caused the disconnect. There is an application in the Market called "Bluetooth Keepalive", it is a $1.35 and prevents the phone from going into this deep sleep when connected via Bluetooth. I tried it and no more disconnect/reconnects. Now if I can get the dealer update the firmware and move the GPS antenna to a better position to fix the GPS lock loss, I will be a happy camper.

Thank you! I am going to give this a try.

Same here, BT audio for me has been great, seamless connection. The only way to adjust the volume is by:

1) Adjusting volume on phone (duh)
2) While BT is connected, turn off head unit for about 5 seconds, turn back on and immediately adjust the volume on the head unit. I think you around 5 seconds before volume adjustment is disabled. (Using Droid Razr Maxx)

Hmmm, have to give that a try. Thanks for the heads-up on that one.
