Need some assistance please, my OFT is not reading my AFR after my first log I sent to shiv. I have played with all the pins and sockets to get a good connection and nothing has fixed it. Started car up this morning and it was reading for about 5 mins and stopped again. I need this working so I can get logs to Shiv, please input if you have advice thanks! Also getting p0031 code which I believe is for the primary sensor but not sure the cause...

Was thinking maybe there could be a heat expansion thing going on -- a leak that closes itself, but maybe not.

If you are still under warranty, maybe bring to to the dealer to have it checked. Sound like you might have a faulty O2 sensor. Or if you are handy with a multimeter check the resistance and voltages you are getting to the heater wire and out of the signal wire. If it doesnt check out you'll have to replace yourself or try to get it warrantied.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Any thoughts as to what might be expanding? I'm a bit of a noob, but could it be a head gasket, or more likely something else along the exhaust line (theoretically - if there was a leak)?

I'm heading out for some drifting on the wet pan (Eastern Creek - SMSP) this weekend, so I will be WOT/redline fairly often. Should I be worried?

Cheers

I am curious about the new OFT friendly e85 flex fuel kit. Anyone using it? I searched for a thread and could not find one. Here is the LINK to the product.

check with the fftec or openflash guys.

Most flex kits put out 0 to 5v for ethanol content, suspect this kit will be same.

You also want to know if it comes with plug and play wiring and if the fuel line connections are "no cut" ie it just connects into existing fittings ie plug and play.

I suspect their using the OFT as the display.

It seem about same price as other kits from say moto-east or delicious if you factor in removal of display.

I was talking about the fftec one. I should have clarified. I have not found any info on this kit. The openflash site says a custom tune is needed and I am ok with that. It looks like its a plug and play kit but I am weary with no other information than what is on the FFTEC site which just brags about the type of fuel hose it uses.

What do you have questions about? The kit has been covered in immense detail on the sbd turbo kit owners fbook page.

Plug and play fuel lines, yes. All pre fab'd XRP lines and fittings. Wiring requires one splice into the ecu at the cpc I believe I got out of Shiv about a month ago. Everything else is wired. Display is through the OFT only as he used a different content sensor then anyone else and he said the output is different for his application. Fitting instructions will be included when you receive the kit, which will be delivered sometime this weekend I love been told by Anthony at FFTEC they were waiting on a bulk fitting order to be delivered yesterday. There will be support for every CAL ID from what I've been told.

Any other questions or if I missed something just lemme know.

I haven't updated my OFT in a long time. Should I update and I was wondering if there's new updates to the UEL 91oct?

Is the OFT flex fuel tune ready to go? Doesn't look like they've published anything for it.
