According to Edmunds, it has 178 hp and weighs 3200 lbs, so it never should have been faster in the first place.

Hell the hybrid has the same 0 to 60 as us! (well the auto ones of us at any rate).
With a proper launch in a MT you should be able to smoke a 2015 XSE V6. Unless of course you find somebody that can drive a Camry at the top limits.

Tune and UEL Header almost completely eliminates the torque dip.
I personally think that it makes for a smoother shifting experience to not be required to shift AROUND the dead zone of 3.5-4.5k

I don't understand.
So the ~10 ft/lb deviation between 3400 and 4400 isn't a torque dip?
Define: semantics

Compared to the ~30-40 ft/lb on a stock car, it's much, much more drivable. Never said it was perfect

But it also make the torque increase seems a lot better. The red line is only 5% over the blue, but it looks like 15%.

Header and Tune.

That's what the guys at my local (NC86) group were telling me when I bought mine a year ago. The torque dip was noticeable to me coming from the perfectly flat torque curve of an old Toyota straight-6.

I've had an Ace header (Type B, 350) on the car for about 3 months now and I would not want to own one of these cars without it. There was some hype for it here and from the local guys, and it's well deserved. There is one thread with some very informative dyno result charts.

No tune yet. Planning to have it dyno tuned very soon.
