I'm not gonna read this whole thread but for for roughly the same cost as an 86... there is zero reason top buy one over the 370. It handles great, has WAY more power, and more/nicer features being a higher class of sports car. It was Nissans flagship until the GTR came over. My gfs 06 350z is very nice and makes the FRSs lack of torque pretty disappointing. If my FRS got totalled today I'm 90% sure I'd be in a Z tomorrow

I'm with everyone else, If I lost my FRS today, only two cars I'd go to , Mustang GT or a 370 Nizmo, but I'd try to get a Vette first

The only thing I don't like about the 370z is that it weighs 500 lbs more than it should for a 2 seater. Seriously, 4 door hatchbacks weigh less while being quicker through the corners. But never drove one so don't listen to the armchair quarterback, enjoy what you want.

that nismo probably doesn't even have bluetooth or a backup camera which you definitely need lol

nissan is cheap with their stripped down models...better off buying a sport tech package Z

and it doesn't have a usb port...so you will have to play music through an aux cable and then when you are trying to change a song a cop will think you were texting and driving

The nismos will hold value better than the standard models if they are maintained well. I dropped a Coyote Mustang for an FRS because the cost of consumables are lower and it is easy to make competitive at autocross. The Z is a little bit dated at this point as the Camaro and Mustang pretty much outperform it in every measurable metric.

I am a nissan guy at heart and wanted a Z until I drove a twin. I felt like I was sitting on a couch in the Z. And I couldn't shake the fact that they will inevitably become like the 300zx bc they are a nightmare to work on. My 2 cents.

Now if Nissan came out with a rwd sports car under the Z (like a s16) I would buy it as soon as I could. But I would also keep my twin. My FRS will die with me.

That was exactly the wording I used to describe the test drive I took in one. I really wanted to like the car but it just did not do it for me at all. Even the power didn't bring out a grin since it just felt blah.

i remember trying to install led turn signals and reverse lights on my 370Z

what a pain that was...you need to remove ALL the trunk panels and then remove the bolts to remove the tail lights from the body and only then can you access the bulbs...it wasn't any easier putting it back together either

it's soooooooooo much easier on the fr-s
