Try and convince me back

I just test drove a 2012 Nissan 370z Nismo, sitting at $27,999 with 25k miles, and absolutely had a blast. I was smiling the whole time and surprising the sales lady let me do a couple decent pulls. As I left the car I continued to have a grin on my face and I just know thats the car I plan on getting in September.

I initially was waiting for 2017 BRZ, but there was just so much car there... anyone have any reason why I shouldn't get?

Get the Nismo. 👍 It's a great car.
Why ask about ppl on what you want, only you can answer that.

2018 BRZ will be turbo and AWD as confirmed by Subaru. I'd wait for that...

HAha! I never really liked the Jetta in the first place, but I couldn't pass up the crazy good deal and I was just looking for a commuter. 105hp~ is quite boring if you ask me. :P

You're very correct. I guess I didn't word my question correct. I know all cars have issues, but some cars have more issues than other and I was curious if anyone had any insight. Really random example but E46 M3's had horrible automatic transmission that was prone to break, however the manual transmission was great. (I only know that cause my dad is a BMW freak)

I really want a RWD car, but that does sound enticing besides I would have to wait a whole year and continue to drive my sllllloooooooooooooowww Jetta. :bonk:

Have you driven a twin? If not, this thread is worthless.

At the end of the day, test drive whatever you want and get the one that tickles your fancy. We can't tell you what the best fit for you is.

^^^This, a million times This.

Don't let a bunch of fools on the internet like us tell you how to spend your money. Drive both cars, feel what you feel in your butt, in your hands, in your heart, and then make a decision based on that.

OP, Guff is right. Don't listen to fools like him. Only listen to the smart ones.

Well Brae I know you are young and Internet savy but I am going to give you a word of advice and you can take it or leave it as you wish.

NEVER ask the question "what issues are there with car XXX" on any car forum!
The problem is that you are going to get extensive lists or every single issue be they real or perceived. People love to throw their issues up in front of the world and it can be very different from reality. Yes, cars can have known issues but many times those issues can be exaggerated because all you see are the vocal minority that had them while the majority that never had any issue remain silent. If you really want to know about the good and bad points of cars just check out the various websites that do updated reviews (such as Edmunds). At least they are close to being factual instead of just opinions.

They were joking about the 18s being turbo AWD just in case you didn't catch that. There will never b a turbo AWD twin (opinion based upon official statements not a fact).

To be foolish is not stupid but to be stupid is foolish.

Marketers everywhere are scoffing at you as we speak. There's a reason the NFL charges millions for 30 second commercials during the Super Bowl.

I can't argue with your point, but this dude is asking strangers to help him decide what he wants. A marketer's dream.
