So the Ferrari protested the Ford resulting in a 70 second penalty which would have handed the Ferrari the win. Then Ford (counter?)-protested the Ferrari which was given a 20 second penalty to be back in 2nd, and a €5000 quit yer bitchin' fine. I am okay with this.

There was even a protest by Ferrari against Ford for violating the 7% rule. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/m...sh-at-le-mans/ Quote:

![]() A pic of the intercooler setup on the TS050. I'm curious as to which section of piping failed. -alex |

Actually the No.6 car was the one battling Porsche for the majority of the race. The car spun out and also made contact with a lapped car around the 20-hour mark, and lost some time due to a couple extra stops. Otherwise, it would've been the No.6 car leading.
The car that had cooling issues was the No.1 Porsche, the water pump had to be replaced outright, which involved dropping the transmission. -alex |

So this isn't about Porsche and Toyota. It's about drama between Ford and Ferrari. Got it.
