They bought it from somebody in California. Pretty obvious actually.

A lot of them follow way too damn close. Their excuses seem to be "the driver that I rear ended panic braked and I had no time to stop."

I also saw a few where they had way too much camber and simply had no grip. Same situation happened up here after leaving a meet where a dude, iirc, spun out and crashed because the road was wet and having very little traction.

Surprisingly, haven't seen or heard of him since. /sarcasm

It's super annoying, they act like it's no big deal or deflect it to something or someone else. That destroys this cars image for others.

It's not total people population but the saturation of 86s that's important. There is a higher concentration in California than elsewhere, therefore more to crash. Even if the same percentage state to state if crashed ones was the same, California would have the most crashed because they have the most 86s

Exactly. If you and the other guy with an FRS in Iowa crashed then it would never even be noticed among all the Cali crowd.

The one other guy... it's lonely here...

I removed "peyote" from my phones dictionary so it'll use "people"life it's supposed to... not the first time it's done that

Want me to move there? I've been looking for cheaper housing areas.

How's the IT job market there?

Not too bad. Sioux Falls, South Dakota is the local city. Practically no manufacturing. All banks and call centers so quite a but of IT work. My sister is always applying for those jobs but her degree is almost 10 years old... and she is halfway useless fixing computers...

One of the safer cities in the country. Auto cross monthly in the summer. Road course is about 3hrs away :-/ Toyota dealer is a big pile of shit but there us another one 70 miles away that's fixing my car right now. One tuning shop. Average rent on a small(tiny or shitty) house or 1 bed apt is $700+ it's a decent city if you don't work in manufacturing. I live in a 3500 person town on the Iowa side of the border. All we have here is manufacturing. Property values are super high, nowhere to rent, jobs pay really well. The "town mafia" aka city council are all local business owners so they block any and all new businesses. The town can't grow. There isn't anywhere for new labor to live and no amenities to make people think it would be a good place to live... fuck greedy politician wannabes...

Don't know if this helps but just got my renewal statement for the next 6 months and it didn't go down from the last 6 months. Had nothing to make it increase either. So no, I do not believe branding will affect insurance rates.

Hmmm, I have a year left on my contract and apartment lease. How much are IT jobs going for out there?

I have A+, Sec+, and networking exp.

I couldn't give you an honest number. Your best bet would be to research online. Maybe check monster.com, stuff like that. I'm sure it pays pretty well and the cost of living is low compared to BIG cities
