I am very interested to see more
I am building a race car from a similarly crashed FRS, to run in south florida. Not sure which series.

Can you post more info and pics about your roll bar, you seem very knowledgable on the area. I am particularly interested in the chassis and mounting point reinforcement you are doing.

I have found a local show who did the cage in the attached images. What do you think of it ? good setup ?

That's similar to my cage. I race with NASA Southeast and NASA Florida. Finished my car last week and raced it this past weekend in a mock race to see how it did. Here's a quick clip showing my door bars similar to the one posted. [ame="http://youtu.be/27ZM7GTkfVw"]http://youtu.be/27ZM7GTkfVw[/ame]

I see that both of you guys have the A pilar cage tube not going as far forward.
In my image you can see the A pilar tube going through the dashboard speaker holes while I see your tube are going into the dash a good 5 inch further back. any feedback on that part ?

Unfortunately, my dash wasn't taken into consideration when the cage was being built. The A pillar down bar was positioned as far forward and close to the chassis without moving or modifying the ECU location on the driver's side. I mocked up the design in my garage and test bent with muffler tubing so that's why I got the result I have. Here's a quick pic.

Back from the dead... Been a long cold winter. The car is coming... Slllooowwwly. Couple more weeks and it's gonna track ready. Bulit a custom PVC delete baffled breather can yesterday.... It's pretty sweet. Took like 5 hours, but better than burning oil vapor.

Just posted about 170 pics of the build... Sorry for the duplicates... But enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks, Daryl
