But i need at least 12 inches of clearance beneath the tires to make this happen. It doesnt look like they would fit under your tire. Do you happen to know what the measurement is from the bottom dead center of your tires is to the ground when the car is fully lifted?

Here is a pick showing the Race Ramp foam blocks. They are 12(center) to 14(sides) inches tall.

I was thinking about EZ car lift too because it lifts higher than quickjack.
also it only uses drill to lift it up. but i couldnt justify myself spending $2K for this.

I love the features of the EZCarlift. But the price does seem ridiculous. There is no doubt that it is very good at what it does. But when you see the simplicity, the price seems mind boggling. But if I take the price out of it. The EZ car lift ticks a few more boxes than the QuickJack. But bring back the money factor and the Quickjack evens right back out easily.

But, I still a need lift that allows for my Race Ramps. So I may have no choice. If you do know the measurement, please share. Congrats on your lift, I (along with my family) can't wait till i can do my car work from home, instead of having to go up to the shop...and not be available to them for several hours.

The Race Ramp is my preferred jack stand of choice. But why do I need to use them? Off the top of my head:

1. I will sometimes leave my vehicle up for days at a time. I would rather the car be up on blocks, rather than stay on the quickjack or EZcarlift.

2. Some suspension work is best adjusted and completed with the car supported by its wheels, and not with the struts fully extended. So I would raise the vehicle with the quickjack, but lower it on blocks to complete the work. Jack stands can't do this.

3. Safety, again the race ramps are my preference over jack stands. Also, in case i take the items to the track with me. The race ramps are much easier to deal with when traveling over standard stands.

There are probably other reasons i am forgetting. But, in the end i want my lifting/jack device to allow for the Race Ramps.

ok.. i have Rhino Ramps too..
i always concern on safety too so i always back up on safety too
if you prefer ramp that much, buy that full lift of Race Ramps.
I was considering them too

Not a bad idea either.

BUT, with ramps you can't work on wheels, brakes, coilover adjustments, etc.
so i can't just use ramps. I am trying to get the best of both worlds. If the quick jack just lifted a little higher.

HA, maybe. I just need the ability to do both things. Sometimes you need a car up in the air with suspension hanging. And sometimes you need a car up in the air with the suspension compressed.

I borrowed a friends set of race ramps and used them with my BL-5000 Quick Jack when I was changing out the engine mounts to the Perrin ones. You have to use a jack in conjunction with it to lift the suspension at each corner a little to slide the ramps in under the tire, but it's doable without too much effort.

I like both products, but i broke down and bought the EZ CarLift. So far I am enjoying the hell out of it.
