Anyone else above 5000 miles too?

I just turned over 5000 miles on the way out to a customer site. I've used the car for my last two work trips, one from Milwaukee to Memphis, and another 500m round trip job here in Wisconsin.

I've spent a LOT of time in this car and I still LOVE getting into it every morning. Luckily I'll be parking it over the winter, so it will still only average 15K miles a year, but those will be hard months!

My only addition to over the last 2K since my previous update is that I've gotten more experience with the Sport mode TCS/VSC and I can say that once you learn where it's limits are you can have a little fun without the door getting slammed on you.

I usually don't travel this much for work, but were down one service engineer, so I'm filling in. Hopefully July is a bit more lean and I don't break 10K in 2 months.

If my math is right...you've averaged 6.72mph since you picked up your BRZ. Including time spent parked...eating...sleeping..etc.

I'm still at a lowly ~1200

3 weeks and I'm at 1500ish. Was just out of town without the car for 4 days though, I'd be higher otherwise.

Time for oil change but they might not have parts yet, it's too new. LOL
Congrats and I can tell you really enjoying every mile...
This is the 2nd week for me and I am only on 700km

I did the oil change on my own at 3K. It was super easy. I'll have to check if there is any other checks at 7500.

Laika, that is a hilarious statistic! :P

I'm not even at 500 miles yet (hopefully by the end of the week), and I've had it for almost 4 weeks. At this rate I won't see redline until August.

And my other car has been in the shop for the past 2 weeks! Imagine if I drive that once a week...

I love the car and I love driving it, but I hope it's 6 months before I have 5000 miles on the car. :P
