Significant other's opinions the BRZ

So I started to notice from another thread that a good amount of people have SO's that don't like the feel of the car and was wondering what everyone's SO's opinion of their BRZ is?

My girlfriend told me she hates the car completely but if I got the limited BRZ, she would only like it for dual climate and the seat warmers.

Edit: this threads not really to convince/help me on which trim to buy, it's more of a discussion on what your significant other thinks of your car. I'm a firm believer in choosing what I want for something rather than letting people convince me, so her opinions won't sway mine

my opinion? I love the car, it handles amazingly on turns, it has good mpg and it's sleek. Don't get me wrong coming from previously owning an 14 STi sedan I miss the space and obviously power. However, the BRZ/FRS is not about how fast you can go on a straight line, even grandma down the street can go fast on a straight line is about turns and corners and how easily you can outrun the fool at a turn when you see him in the rear view mirror slowing down. Space wise forget about it. It is a coupe so don't think you'll be going out camping with all your gear comfortably. I am on stage 2 Open Flash and it's great. I love the car it gets me from point A to B in style. I daily drive to work and back in heavy traffic daily and overall couldn't be happier. I also have the limited, the heated seats are nice in winter and the dual climate well i barely use my A/C I always have my windows down. The limited is also nice because it has heated mirrors which come in pretty handy. Also if you upgrade like I did and get heated convex mirrors it will be the best purchase ever! You can see a car a mile away! It's great! I mean look at your options and what you want the car for.

My wife likes the car fine, we've done camping and road trips in it. She likes it less now with the lowering/suspension changes, but she's never complained about it.

Mine doesn't hate it, she just hates getting in and out of it and that my shifting isn't smooth. She's not used to being in a car with a manual, so she doesn't anticipate the shift so she tends to bounce her head off the headrest

My wife loves the BRZ, so much so that she wants one for her self. And if 86 wasn't so impractical (limited space) we'd have 2 86's! She'd probably get a Lightning Red (BRZ) only because she likes the heated seats, dual climate control and push start. We may get her a Tesla Model 3 though so she's happy.

My wife loved it enough that she convinced me to buy out my lease. She loves the look of the car, and loves the sound as well.

But on occasion, she does complain about getting in and out of it.

My girlfriend loves the car, especially now with the wheels that I have on it, really gives it an aggressive look. She loves the Corsa exhaust I have on it and its not uncommon when my foot gets a little heavy on the accelerator and she hears it to see a big o' smile on her face, she likes it so much that she's thinking about buying the new 2017 Impreza, may not be a BRZ, but its still in the Subie family

My wife loves the car personally. Especially the looks.
The only thing that she doesn't like is aftermarket headers because they are loud...and i agree lol (hence why i have stock headers)

My wife says the FR-S is loud (UEL catless/full exhaust) and low (stock height??) and the doors are heavy (stock doors??). She still rides in it so it's not an issue, but I can tell she doesn't love it.

One thing I found helps is to make an effort to drive slowly and smoothly when she's in the car with me. It's a fair compromise IMO. She doesn't mind taking my car and I drive extra conservatively to keep her happy.

Wife has a couple of points she is not fond of:

Too low.
Too small.
Too bumpy.
Too fast.
Too loud
Seat too tight.
Turns too fast.
Going to get hit by a truck.
Can't see 2 miles ahead.
Other cars block view.
Wrong colour.
Too shiny (reflection hurts eyes).
People stare.
Going to cause an accident (see item above).
Insurance cost to much ($680 a year).
Gets washed too much
People will break in because looks to expensive.
Tinted windows too dark.
Uses premium gas so is expensive (gets almost double the mileage her car does)
Can't hold 5 people.

Probably another half dozen I have forgotten/tuned out.
