Won't that start looking goofy though? What purpose is he using 16s over a taller wheel?

So i think i jumped the gun too soon with the wheels. 16"s are if you just want a lower sitting car all together without camber, someone on the 8thgen civic page said it really well "16s will sit you lower so if you want to be dumbed get 16s but if you want good fitment you need 17s or 18"s".

Normally people upsizing or downsizing wheels also change tires to ones with lower or higher sidewall profile. Imho that should be known as common sense cue. How can car sit lower for whoever was that wrote that post or guide or whatever, unless he does exactly opposite to what most commonly do, and why should one guide oneself after such post/page/whatever?

That's your first problem. Don't listen to anyone on 8thcivic.

I would get stance lower control arms. Really any control arm that lets you mount the strut in different positions for more extreme camber(-6) Offset you'll want something low, lower the better (+20)
Combine with an 18x9.5 results in
(pic not mine, found with Google-fu)

I don't think 16" wheels will get you many likes on instagram.

I've been reading and if I could I want to get 16" wheels and a little wider than 9. I dont know about offset though. Was also looking at lower control arms but thats after the coils and wheels. Any thoughts ? Open to suggestions.
lolwut???

In all seriousness,
1. Drop Springs
2. Cut to desired height
3. Weld stock shocks so you don't pogo stick.
4. No need for arms ect.
5. Buy JDM tyte badges and "drift charm"
6. Find wheels that cost more than your insurance per wheel.
7. Profit.
