can anyone point me in the direction for the template file for live data logging?
When i go to configure what id like, a lot are greyed out and when i go to the live data, it pops up with an error saying template is missing. I read on another thread where shiv said you need to upload the template, but the link was dead. Thanks! |

Make sure to open OFM with an internet connection and let it upgrade itself to the last version, and then connect your OFT for it to be updated with the last template |

No idea if this has already been asked but I've been looking around and found nothing to my avail. Anyhow is the OFT a safe and reliable way to flash your vehicle? Why do this over a professional tune or ecutek? I mean other than price of course. Any info would be helpful thanks! Would a dealership be able to detect any change in ecu when using this?

OFT is very safe and reliable Plug & Play tablet tune.
The difference between this and a professional tune is that oft has many tune options you can use any time and is constantly updating with its community. As for dealers, unless you're going in for a CEL, which you can read and clear on your oft, then they won't notice it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Whereas, my understanding, with ecutek you never get back an original flash from them even if you remove the custom tune. You would have to use another tool, at additional expense, to flash a true factory tune back into the car, for dealer inspection or for sale.

Hey,
I've been looking into the OFT for quite some time and have been reading up on most of the threads making me want to purchase one in the near future (before the end of this month).. I just wanted to ask what things are you guys monitoring when you leave your tablet connect while driving (aka: oil temps, rpms, AFR, LTFT, etc.) Also is there a thread where I can read up more on AFR and LTFT as I heard them being discussed quite frequently in the running e85 on stock car thread. I want to know what LTFT stands for and exactly what it's doing and what I should be looking for if it goes up and down as well as what AFR is a good ratio that this car should be running at and what ratios to be cautious about.

Set up the tuning alerts as in the OFT TIPS thread, have a read on the Flashing-Reset-Learning and ECU blogging links below at the track display oil temp, coolant temp and IAM on oft display and have the tuning alerts set up as in background to monitor afr fuel trims ect as they move too fast for you to watch. |

Have you tried using a stylus or a pen (retracted)? I'd also try clicking somewhere that's not a button, if that's the problem you just need to calibrate the screen.
