Did this happen to your charger pulley?

I got the pulley and belt off after pulling the main bracket off its mounts. Looks like I'll have to reflash back for a while until I can get a new pulley, no damage to s/c at least.

Yep! I replaced the copper seals on the line and cleaned up the gaskets on the cap and it went away.

I'm still using the factory header overpipe and frontpipe. Recently I caught some muffler packing coming out of the exhaust. I took everything apart and found the cat converter was empty.

LOL! POWWAAAAAA!!!!!!!

It was on the charger pulley, I received a new pulley from KW and was able to install it earlier this week and I am now back to 100%.

During installation I had to replace a copper seal because there was a slight notch in the one that came with it which caused a minor leak. Once I switched that out it has been great for about 5k miles.

that's funny this just happened to me recently.... the bolt holding the pulley to the sc snapped.... so bizarre. I had to send the whole sc and bracket to them so they can inspect the sc and replace the pulley, bolts, and a new belt. everything is free which is awesome, but i had to pay for shipping there.

also... for those who needs the belt...:

My belt was intact and they ended up sending me the new pulley and bolts for 50 dollars because I didn't want to deal with trying to claim warranty which I think worked out really well since I got it back up and running in a couple of days and didn't have to send out anything. Definitely looks like a point of concern but I am regularly inspected that pulley now as a watch out.

I have two of the smaller belts for sale if anyone needs some spares (IF you're using the old drivetrain). They don't fit with the larger pulleys so I have no use for them unless I get bored and use the smaller ones for the hell of it.

i've pretty much given up on the kraftwerks system with all of my 4 broken belts. i could never get the system tensioned correctly, even after following kraftwerks instructions. they decided to give me a complete refund for the entire system so i can buy something else entirely. i will never in my life go with a manually tensioned system ever again.

If no one has seen this thread yet. The OP lays out all the issues with the kit and a few ways to work around them.

a bit on supercharger drive systems and the Kraftwerks kit.

Sadly not a joke. It's what the kit is now known for

The kit needs an auto pulley tensioner. The belt heats up and the belt is no longer tight enough. To cold and it's tomuch tension. For this very reason is why cars main serpentine belt as a auto pulley tensioner.
