I have a feeling they don't want to give it to me. I spoke with CJ once about it and he seemed to know quite a bit. He wanted me to read off the code on the pulley for him but I couldn't see it at the time. It seems that I am still running the old set up with the 40T-100 crank pulley. I called back again and someone else picked up telling me that a rep. had to email me about it. Is that what you had to go through?

ah, nope. CJ had told me that they had revised the pulleys and that I should not buy the belt as new pulleys would come with the new belt. The only thing he asked for is to provide the name and kit purchase confirmation. He is an absolutely amazing guy to deal with. They do have at least 1 knucklehead on their phone support who I bumped into when I ordered my c38 kit which was shipped with the c30 outlet rubber pipe - he tried to convince me that I'd need to come up with an adapter, so beware. Just email and/or pm to CJ or when you call try to get hold of him. They should keep the record themselves to whom they have shipped already the pulleys.

There's a code thats etched on the crank pulley. 40T-100 is the old one (Which I have) and 51T-128 is the new one.

51 teeth 128mm diameter

it's been a while, at least a year. i think all 2015+ kits should have the new pulleys.

Ok now it's my turn. My belt was losing teeth and getting really noisy and eventually broke. I have been very persistent with checking tension but the app is hard to use so I have defaulted to the twist method. Over the fall I believe the temp ranges may have made my belt too loose and it was slapping a lot when cold so I had it tightened a bit. I was only checking tension when fully warmed up and was able to twist to a little past 90 degrees. Thinking that slightly loose was better than too tight. I'm thinking now that the twist should be just hitting 90 degrees.

How many miles did you put on the belt?

Hey man. CJ is sending me the new set up. I forgot to ask what all was involved. Did you have any difficulty changing out the pulley on the C38 unit?

Could you attach this to the OP please?

Pullet is toast to S/C is toast screws backed out. Actually was kinda lucky because I was doing a random check and noticed the pulley wobbling, well while I was watching it wobble trying to remember how I had to attach it or if it was a bearing or something going out it snapped the last bolt or two that was holding it causing it to jump and grind.

I got the pulley and belt off after pulling the main bracket off its mounts. Looks like I'll have to reflash back for a while until I can get a new pulley, no damage to s/c at least.
