What I found is alot times in autocross your not even full throttle. So it never activates. Areas like through a slalom your are wot so it really builds your speed quick almost too quick. All in good fun!

On a typical autocross that is true. This a club event at a special sheriffs track where a stock brz will touch 80. A boxster will see 90 and 911s may kiss 100. So there should be at least a few wot moments.

Do you have the v2 with partial boost?

Doesn't matter. The procede works off throttle input and other sensors. Not tune.

2400 watts of power!

I've finally done it. I moved the 2 Big Crank batteries to the trunk to run my car and compressor, then made a new battery tray and installed 4 Shuriken 600 watt low-resistance audio batteries in front. The difference is noticeable.

The original connector wouldn't reach between the terminals of the batteries, so I made some new ones from some flattened copper tubing. The clearance for the battery tray was tight. I had to shave off the back side and one whole corner to fit it in flush. I still want to reinforce the top hold-down bracket, and anchor the tray to prevent movement, but overall I'm happy how it's worked out, and I'm still able to fit everything under the trunk mat!

Do you monitor boost? Be curious of that and whats the voltage drop?

I was hoping to do the same but keep the pc680 in the engine bay as well. I think in theory though 1 battery equal to two of the Shurikens would be better or less resistance if anything.

Soooo, you're saying I'm the A$$hole.

Actually, I wonder how many other Ecutek guys have made the same assumption. I can't believe i just assumed and never asked. But definitely good to know. At my height and size running that damn pedal switch is not very fun. Hardest part of the install by far. The last time I installed the kit on my old BRZ, i had a friend who is about 5'6" run the cables and he had it done in 5 mins. Took me well over 30.

<shouting> HEYYY @Lord09 you still got your procede for sale?

So, what should I monitor and log on my OFT? Today is the first day I've really driven it since installing the 4 Shuriken's. I gave it about half throttle at about 30mph and just launched it to about 55mph in a flash. It definitely felt stronger than it has before.

Make a log on the oft. I'm curious on how it holds boost.

You should a ton of capacity now. I always wondered where is the point of diminishing returns or if the two big cranks are it.

As I understand it you would want almost no voltage drop ideally. You know as V drops the Amp pull goes up and may exceed the batteries' capability.

not awe inspiring boost, but better than before

There isn't a ton more capacity. I'm using the audio batteries, so although they are rated at 20 Ah and 600 watts each, they don't have much staying power because their internal resistance is so low. Right now I have them wired for 2 28 volt pairs in parallel. I might need to run 2 28 volt lines to the controller to get max power. They bounce back to 28 volts in about a second. Here's the brief log I made. http://datazap.me/u/koolbrz/4-batter...t?log=0&data=8
I could have more boost with less AVCS overlap. The real test would be to load up one of Shiv's tunes and let it climatize with Shiv's quick-learn method. Then do a full-throttle run. Then, if the results are the same I'll consider how to rewire the 28 volt leads into the Phantom controller with duplicate 4 gauge wires.
