Isn't that the guy that put it in backwards and had to drive everyplace in reverse though? Pain in the butt to have one speed forward and 6 backing up.

It just takes getting use to man. He drives a manual so it's nothing he can't handle.

I finally understand the true appeal of a manual. Whoever thought driving in reverse could be such an immersive experience.

The efficiency of the drivetrain is already VERY GOOD, so that's beside the point, as that has nothing to do with net engine power within this context.

Sure it will, we've installed a Ford Coyote and 2JZ here and that new BMW straight six is much smaller. But see, that's another speculation that it's a straight six.

I agree. I don't make decisions so who knows what reasons may be. I listed a few in another reply somewhere.

A 2JZ can easily be destroyed by a chip and tune by some guy in a garage who thinks he's onto something without formal education on engine science, without touching hardware, so I'm not accounting for that sort of thing No. I'm merely basing my statements on the durability based on professional calibration of hardware under racing conditions such as performed by entities qualified and tested in laboratories, and scenarios like Nurburgring ADAC 24, and Super Taikyu All-Japan Racing Series, JRC and Asia Pacific Rally.

I think the Kia Sedona wins there. It costs more than the 86 though, and does have more torque. LOL and only one speedometer.
