Out of context it may have been uncalled for but this guy is constantly shit-posting on my previous threads I have started so it may have been a little harsh.

Just out of pure curiosity, I made the effort to look up your threads. Out of 34 threads I replied to 8. Out of 8 replies I found 4 times where I "shit-posted" replies. The tittles alone are "huh?, really?, for real?" worthy. And just to point out Tcoat said "worse". In my opinion at lest.

What do you guy's do with unused oil

Is it necessary to pre fill the oil filter

What is the actual amount of oil the FRS/BRZ needs

Need advice on flat tire.

The manual.
The reason: lsd would make it pull to the side. Although it won't be that bad if your not on highway speeds.

But really it's just there so Toyota can cover their ass if some person puts the spare tire on the rear and goes 90mph and has the lsd blow out and blame Toyota.

I don't know if its just a Chicago thing, but "Temporary Spare" and "Permanent Replacement" are interchangeable with most drivers I see

It's not so much that lsd will make it pull to the side, but rather that with different diameter tires-wheels (even if slightlty), LSD has to work all the time to compensate different rotational speeds, including going in straight line, which will lead to it overheating or even damaging it, if one does mistake of going too long with different diameter wheels on car's end with LSD (heard examples of rather short distances and of rather small differences in wheel, when "bad things happened" [tm]) . Same note (but for front) can be seen in manuals of FWD drives with LSD in front. If one hasn't made mistake for posing purposes going for staggered tire/wheel setup, one can always just put one of front wheels in back, in driving end with LSD, putting spacesaver spare in front. One more wheel to remount in case of flat, but that is just cons of technology one has to live with. A bit of extra inconvenience is not enough to overshadow usefulness of LSD instead of open diff imho.

I thought it was just common knowledge and best practice to not put spares on the drive axles?
