gear one performance has a trunk brace for their BRZ with the apr gtc 200 wing.

Not sure how effective that would be if the trunk lid is to remain functional. When closing it has to go down further then the normal resting position to let the latch catch and that could be a problem even if it is only a couple of MMs. Would be fine if the trunk lid is fixed in the closed position though.

Still has to go below the pin holes before coming back up to level. Although you could just push the corners down enough to insert the pins I guess.

I'm sure the trunk could be attached with slits cut in, although it would never open/close
and you couldn't put anything in it. I was interested in this super aggressive open trunk look (but my build is purely form) |
