gear one performance has a trunk brace for their BRZ with the apr gtc 200 wing.

Hmm I was imagining something that attached to the frame to counter act the sag in the deck due to the weather stripping being squished.

Not sure how effective that would be if the trunk lid is to remain functional. When closing it has to go down further then the normal resting position to let the latch catch and that could be a problem even if it is only a couple of MMs. Would be fine if the trunk lid is fixed in the closed position though.

One reason why I'm so interested in this.I suppose you could use hood pins to latch it instead

Still has to go below the pin holes before coming back up to level. Although you could just push the corners down enough to insert the pins I guess.

and you couldn't put anything in it.

I was interested in this super aggressive open trunk look (but my build is purely form)

Not being facetious at all bro. I just really need to sit down and do the sketches and the math. I'm in no way a high horse power car so I'm not sure if the brace would even make a difference. I do notice the flex though.
