Just the usual. But for whatever reason the cop decided to give me much more than just a speeding ticket. Oh well, RIP driving privileges most likely, hope its not long.

So I bought the Perrin kit.

Mishi is even less expensive so you'd wind up saving even less money trying to build it.

Basically, unless you really like to fabricate your own stuff, want to save every last dime possible, or need some custom application (like mounting behind a fog light or at the rear of the car with a fan, etc.), most people wouldn't find the trouble worth the savings.

I like to build stuff, and if I get lazy my roomate makes Hydraulic lines for a living, I'm sure we could make some amazing lines. The biggest issue would be the Adapter.

I hope to one day actually see some data on the WORKS kit.

Basically, 5W-30 is "mandatory" and an oil cooler is "a really good idea."
Will it make much difference (for hot track days) to run 10W-30 instead of 5W-30? I don't know much about engines.
TIA.

The first number is your cold start viscosity. When both of those oils come up to operating temps they are a 30 weight.

As was mentioned earlier the lower cold start weight oil might have a slight compromise at the higher end of it's usable temperature range, but you probably won't notice the difference.

Not sure, might need a spacer. Shouldn't be too hard to have a shop CNC one though, it's basically a pass through section of 3" rod stock.

Going to be tracking my HyperBlue in the future, I've got a lot of stuff planned but first thing I'd want to do is get coilovers w/ 18 x 9.5 +40mm wheels and some nice PSS tires.

I'd want some high quality coilovers, my question is, should I get the regular KW V3 coilovers? Or the Raceseng ones with added components, links for reference.

Car will be track & DD equally both. I don't mind if my suspension is rough on the streets if it performs well on the track.

KW Variant 3 + CasCam + Shock Top

KW Variant 3

I feel like with the cost of the Raceseng ones I should get Ohlins or something. To be honest though I just got into cars as a hobby buying the HyperBlue and just want what's best for the car as I'm going for a high-end build. Cost not being that much of a priority but definitely up there with with performance as #1
