I'd say contact your dealer just to make sure, but you aren't missing out on much at the moment - aside from your order details, all it says in the tracking section is:

Congratulations on the purchase of your new 86. Toyota Australia is proud to launch this new model in June 2012 .
We will make every endeavour to deliver your brand new 86 as soon as possible after the launch date.
After the launch date each time you log on to this web tracking facility you will be able to see the estimated date when you can pick up your brand new vehicle

Not exactly groundbreaking stuff. Hopefully its a bit more useful come the 18th... or soon after

I don't know which dealer you guys went....

I only can say I was so lucky... I called up Chatswood Toyota on 7/6, and the guy was very sales, told me they have two cars I can order, and pushed me to go for signing contact...Ok, I dob't care as long as I can get it ASAP..

My company is in North Sydney, so I just left early, arrived Chatswood Toyoto Temp Office (their office is under rebuilt).. I did not imagine the person I spoke to is the sales manager and he was from same city as me....hahaha.. ok, so good, local language for us....

He showed me kind of doc telling the cars order situation. Now I feel very surprise at that time they have one black auto GTS that was made in May and delivered in June... (first shipment?) Anyway, it is not my color....the second available car is the one I ordered, will be made in June and arrive at Syd by the end of July.......White auto GTS with Aero Kit....the only concern is even they don't know the price of the kit.....

The contract is manual paper one as all the 86 were not in their system. But I got my car build order code in my contract and date as well....

I called up my dealer just 30 mins ago, and has been told my order has been updated, will be completed in June and shipped in July.... can't wait

ask them for an online tracking username and password and you can track yourself like above.

He is an old man, apparently I can say he is too busy to follow this up.. he is just a sales manager, and no separated commission for himself (depends on his sales boys/girls).... I don't care, he told me I can call him anytime if I want an update.......

BTW, what's build date for your one mate?

He sent me a separate sales order a day later with these details on it (after i asked for it). Its not be necessary, but you might wanna ask for them if its not in the contract as this is the bind between you and a specific vehicle (which is what you want).
