I've been running the Jackson Racing C30 kit for over 6 months now and just added injectors & E85. I never ran a blower before so I had no idea really what to expect. My first impression was that it sounds like I have a big hair drier under the hood :O I don't hardly notice it any more. No whine like you'd get with a roots blower. In fact, unless you know what to listen for, you'd never know I was boosted - stock exhaust is still in place too, making it quite a sleeper...

No whine per say but the blower does create additional noise, definitely not as loud as a whining SC but louder than stock
