A question to all you SC owners

So I'm a little curious about how loud the sc whine really is for all the different SC's for sale. So if you SC owners would like to comment using:
SC kit name/ how long you've owned it/ Whether the noise is not noticeable, slightly noticeable, quite noticeable, very noticeable.
Also any other info you'd like to insert!
:thanks:

Innovate: loud.
Edelbrock: barely audible (not audible with exhaust).
JRSC: no whine
KWSC: no whine
Vortech: no whine
HKS: no whine
Cosworth: barely audible (not audible with exhaust)
Harrop: barely audible (not audible with exhaust)

What about Kraftworks? un/thread

I bought the HKS supercharger and you don't hear anything. It comes down to what type of supercharger you get. Since the HKS and some others use centrifugal type it doesn't put off that whine you're expecting. This site will help explain the types of Superchargers available.

I have the Sprintex/Innovate 210 supercharger and with an aftermarket intake (I have Perrin), it's loud when at full throttle, but if you're just daily driving with not much pedal (driving like a grandpa), then you won't really hear it. It's the loudest kit from what I've heard, but I like the noise. Not too loud to be annoying, nor does it hurt the ears or anything. Loud with the supercharger isn't the same as saying an exhaust is loud. I have lots of videos of my car on the track on my youtube page if you'd like to listen to them.

I have the Sprintex 210+ /SPS kit, it's nice and loud past about 2750rpm. Though it's quieter than the standard 210. With exhaust, could barely hear it. Stock catback, can here it whine away happy as Larry

I would really love to have that kit just for the sound but I keep hearing there are issues with heat and the belt. I live in Florida and it can get pretty toasty out here.

I live in Straya and hot doesn't even cover it. The 210+ or SPS kit has special heat coating and 10-20% more efficiency/gains. So far no problems. Correctly aligning the pulleys helps. And it's really easy to put the belt on. I put it on with when hand adjusting the tensioner and the other slipping the belt on.

If you don't mind me asking how long have you had it and what #s you put down?

Unsure of numbers yet, haven't had it dynod. Waiting on ecutek cable to I can delicious tune it.
Has the sprintex tune at the moment which goes alright.
Owned for a couple months now?

I just saw that you were in lismore. If you havent bought the ecutek/even if you have id reccomend s taking it up to coyote tuning in brissy. If you're paying the money to tune a car you may as well do it properly and get the best result possible
