For those Rexpeed mirrors, are they the heated version? Do you have re-attach any wiring?

These are not the heated mirrors. The install took three minutes and required zero re-wiring.

I have the heated version, there are just prongs that you have to skip the female connectors off on your OEM mirrors and put them on the new ones. Still takes 3 minutes.

That's good to know. I was curious how much more difficult it would be.

1. fender turn signal: there are a number of illuminated fender garnishes. We had a group buy in January and I purchased a set. Not vented, but the glossy black finish is handsome with my Sterling Silver paint and the other black trim on the exterior. This thread follows us through installation and results: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98740. Not exactly plug n play, nor without frustrations, but I just spliced into my front turn signal sockets and it works great.

2. 4th brake light. Have you checked out Diode Dynamics.com? They have reasonably priced kits including wiring/harnesses for several exterior lighting mods. I moved the rear turn signals to the stoplights and used the signal housings for high, bright backup lights.

Some more pics before paint!

Honestly kind of like the look of it all mismatched and pieced together.. Its like a rat rod rice edition.

Its the Bayson r replica from ebay. I also have the side skirts and rear aprons too and they are all great quality. I plasti-dipped them and they look exactly like the real ones.

Ahh so the finish on them wasn't as matte as you wanted? They look kinda shiny in the ebay pictures.
