It has a couple of quirks.... As of right now the relay doesn't work correctly. I would snag a simple relay like Rob recommends earlier in this thread.

And then rewire it.

Or get rid of the relay completely and just manually turn it on and off.

I would also snag the big crank batteries.

You said you ordered the procede?

If that is all the relay does, then its coming off. I did not order the procede this time. I am running on Ecutek as of right now with my current build, so no procede this time.

I already have the PC680 batteries. I had them from my last setup.

What other quirks can i expect?

I will have to rewire the pedal switch, it has been cut off. But no biggie, I think.

As always thanks for your help. From what i gather from Lord09 I shouldnt really have any issues. The unit worked good for him. But, regardless, if someone has a harness they want to sell. I am willing to buy.

If I can track it down and it's the right part, no charge. Just need to mail it. I'll look for it tonight after work.

Generalizations are inherently wrong

Its not like an intercooler automatically makes air a certain temp, it just keeps temps from getting too high. (So having an IC doesn't turn 90f air into 40f).

90F air with a turbo pre-intercooler is gonna be mid-80's or higher after-intercooler.

90F air with turbo NO intercooler is like 100+after turbo.

90F air with phantom is still 90ish after phantom.

An intercooler won't help cool temps for the phantom, and adding one would just create more lag, pressure drop etc.
If the compressor is relocated to the front of the radiator, a high-flow cone air filter attached, fed into insulated intake tubing and run over the radiator, past the MAF sensor, and into an insulated liquid to air IC, (shown below), and directly into the throttle body, this could be super-cooled by plumbing in AC lines from the AC compressor. This would prevent the worst effects of heat-soak, through insulated IC and tubing, and would super-cool the charge through freon cooling instead of ordinary water.

take a look at a company called Kincaid performance. They make something kinda like what you're talking about, but for supercharged vehicles that use water to air IC's.

Massively expensive(see; overpriced lol) and the minute benefits of it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

Heat soak and reducing intake temps are two different things(although, very similar). The phantom kit does not really suffer from heatsoak.

There is no easy/reasonable way to add an IC to this kit, that works well enough to offset the cost and trouble.

Air to air ic: Although I have not tested it of course, I'm fairly certain any mild(if ANY) decrease in intake temps would be offset by reduced flow from a normal air to air intercooler.

Well, at the very least let me ship it on my account or at least pay for the shipping. But thank you at the very least for checking.

It will save time from me having to solder everything the way i like. And i hate to go back to the baby thing, but its hard to find the time right now to do certain projects. I save my kitchen pass days for AX or HPDEs.

If you delete the relay I almost guarantee that you'll forget to shut it off and kill your battery. Keep some jumper cables handy.

Whhhaaatttttttt, i never forget.

No, your probably right. The good news is Lord09 let me know that the relay worked fine for him and that he didnt experience any problems after install. So i can leave the relay and I will just resolder connections. UNless, Daemano can find an extra harness (fingers crossed) and then i dont have to worry about it.

I guess i am just a cable snob. Lord09 did a fine job terminating everything, but I will redo all the wiring if I dont get another harness. The rest of the kit is in great shape.

Does anyone know if Shiv is on a vacation or something. I know he works all the time, but i have been trying to get in touch with him(PMs, emails, calls) for about a week now and no response.

Bad news, no dice on the harness.

Although it sounds like Lord09's will work just fine. A well soldered connection can be as good as a solid wire. I wouldn't worry about it one bit TBH.

I appreciate you checking. I am still waiting for an answer from Rob if he has one available. But yes, I will solder and use heat shrink wrap on the connections.
