lol, the Moo! gets everyone. This is the Delicious FnG with flex fuel. No tune adjustments, just two back to back pulls within half a horsepower of each other. Couldn't ask for more in regards to consistency. I'm very happy with the end result.

I see that you're in NC. Do you ever come to Charlotte for any of the car shows/cars and coffee? If so, I would love the see the Edelbrock in person!

I come out there occasionally. Come join us on NC86.CLUB facebook page, and you can see all the events we will be at. I'll be up at VIR this weekend if you want to make the trip.

I just joined! I don't think I'll be able to make it up there this weekend. I'll be studying for midterms.

I read through the thread and assume I know the answer, but, are you running the S/C with e85 on a stock bottom end?

This would be where I might ultimately land if the motor can take it. Subbed for survival info.

Yea, I am on stock bottom end (75,000 miles young). It has around 10 track events on it, and maybe 30+ autocrosses, a few trips to the dragon, and frequent spirited driving. So far so good, I just sent off an oil analysis sample to Blackstone a few days ago, so we will see how the results look. This oil sample has a bit of SC driving and E85 in it.

I have a track day both days this weekend, and an autocross next weekend. So, I'll keep this updated if something happens...fingers crossed though haha. I don't have the cash for an engine build right now.

Track Update:

I had a track day scheduled this past weekend at VIR (Virginia Int'l Raceway) with THSCC. On Saturday we ran Full course configuration and on Sunday we ran Grand Course configuration. The Grand course option is usually a very expensive rental cost, so if the opportunity to go to an event pops up for Grand course, its well worth making the trip.

Prior to the event, I put the car up on the lift, and did some general track prep. I did an oil change, swapped out transmission and diff fluid, and emptied my catch can. It was pretty full, so I am glad I took the time to do it.

Catch Can:

When changing my engine oil, I came across a piece of rubber foreign matter in my filter. It was lodged in one of the five small holes in the filter, but I pulled it out for this picture. I am not 100% certain where it came from, so I cut open the filter and verified it wasn't a piece of the insides of the filter.

Foreign Matter:

Inside OEM Filter (Ignore Cutting Wheel Bits):

I also pulled my OEM snorkel before the event, as I had reinstalled it after putting in the Edelbrock kit, and was later informed it was not supposed to be there:

-------------

I ended up taking my own E85, just to be safe:

Saturday was really cold, ~32F in the morning, reaching ~52F by mid afternoon. The PSS hated the cold weather, but overall did pretty well.

Paddock:

Pits:

Sunday was a lot warmer, starting in the 40Fs and ultimately reaching close to 70F by the middle of the day. The tires did a lot better, and the 265s were great.

PSS with some heat in them:

Rubber Errywhere:

I always try to represent "86" when I can:

---------------------

On the way home the car rolled over 76k, so I figured she had earned a good thorough wash/clay/wax.

Could that foreign rubber material be from your oil cooler/ lines?

It could be. I don't know if you are on the FB group, but that was my initial suspect source, as that is the only changepoint I've made since the last oil change. I sent off an oil sample from that change as well to Black Stone, and everything checked out. I'm going to reduce my service interval, and check it again to see if anymore shows up in there when I pull the filter this next go around.

Here's the report:
