Need exhaust suggestions.

I bought a Tomei 80r and I have a catless OFH and a dual resignation HKS FP.

I personally don't mind how loud it is but I have gotten nothing but complaints from family and neighbors (ironically my girlfriend likes it). But I guess I'll go ahead and quiet it down. I don't want to change any of my exhaust setup apart from the catback.

I need suggestions for a catback with little or no drone, fairly quiet on a cold start, and has a great noise. Preferably would like to not lose money on it and plan on selling the 80r for 750 or so.

Thanks!

Also I plan on boosting in the near future so something that flows good would be nice

The default answer to quiet catbacks + full catless systems = Invidia Q300.

+1 to the stock catback. If you have it still, no harm in just swapping it while leaving the rest of the exhaust and see how it sounds. Plus you get to use the money from the catback for something else.

If the stock catback sounds good, just grab GT86 tips or the Perrin 4" Tips (what i'm using) looks great

I like some noise though. I had the stock catback on for a while with full catless and it was almost silent

You running stock airbox? I'm running the Perrin CAI that rests in the bumper and I LOVE the sound is makes over the stock box+all the resonators. The intake noise is significantly louder under load. Might be worth a shot? IDK, I'm partial to more of a sleeper setup that only is loud when I get on it about 4K+ personally. I'm only running a UEL header, but i'm planning on adding a OP/FP like what you have to add some extra noise.

You could try looking into some axle backs and keeping the stock midpipe. That should give you a nice sound without being crazy loud.

Yup on stock air box. How much does the Perrin cost?

How's the stock midpipe in terms of flow? I plan to turbo soon

It's fine. It's not going to be a serious bottleneck until you break the 400HP mark.

The farther down the exhaust, the smaller affect it has on performance. Header being the most important, OP/FP next etc. I would almost venture that the midpipe and catback does little to nothing even on FI
