Yes exactly. The stock suspension aint bad. Most people get springs or coils to close the OEM wheel gap. This would accomplish the same on the stock suspension. Really they're only needed for the front end as the rear can be lowered with lowering LCAs like those from PBM and Stance.

What about a valve unit that gets welded in to modify an existing exhaust?

The whole exhaust valve thing sounds insanely expensive to me and I doubt there is a legit market once people see the price. IDGAF just thought I'd try to make a helpful suggestion to try to mitigate cost. I don't mind loud exhaust. If I wanted it quiet I wouldn't have replaced it.

EDIT: so I didn't think of a good way to do the weld in piece but what about using water/air valves? Do they come in weldable steel? If it was manual(get under car to open/close valve) they could be cheap. Build it as an axleback. I made a sketch. Feel free to elaborate on it or steal it, I don't really need this thing. I think I'll make another sketch and add it later too

Sketch #2 with exhaust coming out of both tips so you don't look like a douche in the winter

EDIT: LOL I labeled the wheels as mufflers, just ignore that

it doesn't seem too complicated. looking online i found some decently cheap electronic valves.

@Ashikabi if you allow me to use your image to illustrate something that would probably be cheaper:

The valve right before the muffler isnt needed. You dont need to force the air to pass thru the straight one, it will be more efficient to leave them both open. Then when you close the straight valve, all of it goes thru the muffle exit, very quiet.

Also, everyone talking about an electrical valve. Thats cool and all, but what about a mechanical one? You would need to get under the car and turn it by hand yes, but for those looking for a solution to unleash the power at the track and keep it quiet elsewhere these would be a decently cheap alternative.

Go for it. I'm happy to share with the community. If you make a million dollars I'd appreciate a finder's fee or something though.

What if you just made the valve/Y pipe and welded that into an existing system? That would have to be the cheapest option no?

EDIT: ahh I see, it was a rhetorical question. I'd vote for mechanical myself unless electronic is super cheap.
