The driveshaft is thicker, yes. I believe I had some install errors when I did it though, which is why I will try again. (again, mostly due to me rushing/being tired/it being late at night/not having directions handy and being lazy to get them)

The feeling? Almost bliss.

For actual bliss, you'd need some other tactile pieces for when you shift, clutch, steer, etc. IMO, those are all pieces to make you feel more connected to the car when driving.

Haha those late night mods you can't help but do! Well, if you ever get to it, and you get it done or close to done, let me know! I'd really like to see how it feels! I'm out in SoCal! I see you're in Irvine, so not far.

Is this compatible with the TRD Quickshifter?

My current setup is the TRD Quickshifter, Whiteline positive shift kit and MTEC shift springs. Trying to see if it's worth the money and hassle (I remember it being a pain in the ass to tighten the lower portion of the shift lever/adapter with an allen key).

It may be, but it is not wise to use both. The USDM TRD quickshifter is not a great piece overall; if you require something shorter than the STI shifter you may wish to look into the TRD shifter.

Why do you think it would it be a bad idea to use both? They serve different purposes. If anything, it seems ideal.
