STI GEAR SHIFT LEVER (ST35010AS000) unpacking

Hi guys, here there are some pics about STI shift lever as JDM name it, shortly SS for all us.

After one year of Kartboy usage I decide to remove it and install this one.
With Kartboy I had a lot of trouble referring to "rattle" and sometimes it was very very precise as of engagement (too much).

STI is more "technical" as build, more teflon as you can see. No rattle @at any rpm range and gear.

Reducement of engagement (STI) is a bit lower than Kartboy. Very satisfied.

If you wish to buy, remember that TRD SS is the same HW of STI one and Subaru is a bit cheaper!

Could you clarify what you mean by this?

What he means is that this STI short shifter is pretty much identical to the JDM TRD Short Shifter but cheaper.

This is different than the TRD quick shifter right?
Also about how much did this run you?

As technic is quite different thus TRD quick modifies the lever near sub-pillow. I don't know the exact ratio reduction in comparison to SS but remember that quick shift is a develop of Toyota US, not JDM.
Might be quite different for market requirements and usage.

Installed by myself as I done with Kartboy. Yes, I have both MTEC shifter springs.
Easy install but remember, reduction ratio is not so wide as kartboy...but it is still operating after 1k kms with no trouble and no rattle at any rpm range. Gear engagement is more easy and soft.
