mounting location of what? What version of the kit are you using? i have the V2 kit with the injector upgrade Where did you mount the oil cooler? Note that HKS sells 2 versions of the oil cooler, one for N/A setups which mounts in front of the rad and the other for FI setups which mounts in front of the passenger wheel (i got the FI unit). How does it do in winters for warm up? i'm lucky enough to have a beater so the car is stored during the winter months Do you track and monitor oil temps, air intake temps, ambient temps? Yes! i have oil temp/pressure and a boost gauge the car is fine as a daily, only times i would have issues is when i'm stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for hours on end but it would never get to a point where i have to pull over to let the car cool off. On the track, it does get hot near the end of a 15min session but every car gets hot at the end of the session. |

It's good to know that the FI kit works well on the track and in traffic. 2 more questions 1) after installation if some one wanted to make some ducting into the wheel wells would there be room with FI oil cooler that you have 2) if someone got the FI oil cooler and then went with the HKS supercharger would parts of the oil cooler need to be uninstalled to mount the SC properly? Thanks for all the help and quick response I greatly appreciate it! Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk |

not 100% sure as i've never tried, here's a pic of the setup so you get a better idea 2) if someone got the FI oil cooler and then went with the HKS supercharger would parts of the oil cooler need to be uninstalled to mount the SC properly? only thing i can think of is uninstalling the oil lines prior to installing the s/c |

$4100 with their standalone tuner. i believe around 270whp on pump and 320whp on e85 on base maps I've seen around 400-420whp on the kit.

We haven't had anyone "max out" a 7040L on a FA20 yet but it's essentially a belt-driven 59 lb/min turbo. ~59 lb/min on a 2.0L is enough air for ~450 hp at the crank on gas. We have S2k guys at that level with this blower, I'm sure the FA20 crowd won't take very long to catch up. Do you have a comp. map for your turbo so we can compare apples to apples?

There are 744 members in the group as of this morning and growing everyday There are LOADS of customers & dealers with our kits making 400+ whp. Our new 58mm Inducer Garrett Ball-Bearing (GTX3076R Sized, Custom Billet Compressor Wheel) turbocharger just released. I expect to see several making over 500whp with that option this year on built motors. SHIV @ OFT is about to release his new E85 tunes for this kit, and you're going to see a wealth of people making above 400whp. Stay tuned! |

That's awesome and you should be proud of all your accomplishments!
I was just curious if you had a compressor map for your turbo so anyone reading this thread could compare. That's all. |

Shiv @ OFT has not supported ethanol tunes for their device with this kit. But I'm happy to announce Shiv is currently finalizing his calibration and will have dyno data to share soon. Since he owns the kit personally, on his personal car, this has expedited the process of his E85 tunes. 400-450whp is going to be par for the course in 2016 with our customers, can't wait! |

I've decided on your kit and will order soon unless something happens and I want e85 but don't want to stick with my OFT!
