HKS V3 Supercharger kit or SBD Turbo kit

I'm gunna admit I need power, I've been around too much of it so I'm going forced induction. I think I got it narrowed down to SBD turbo or HKS V3. I love turbos always have had GTRs and a 1400hp supra now so I'm addicted to turbos but I've always been interested in the instant power of a supercharger and I know HKS is high quality stuff. But I found the SBD kit and I see that it makes the same power for a grand less. So what is the drawback of the SBD compared to the HKS? Is it a reliability thing? SBD made with lower quality parts? I can't figure it out, help!

let me know your power goal range?
and do you have access to E85?

SBD is basically a Greddy kit so you couldn't go wrong with either or.

I would like to make 300whp I would be happy with below that (270whp or so on 93) and 300+ on e85 since I do have a pump very close to where I live

Also the car is a daily so it needs to be as reliable as possible. Won't get driven hard just a pull every now and then, merging, passing, normal stuff

I recommend E85 for 300+whp on FA20 high CR engine.
For reliable street car i recommend centrifusal supercharger like HKS , Jackson Racing .
Avo is good (i prefer avo to sbd) for 300 power range but SC setup is a-little easyer than turbo setup.

HKS V3! Of course, I'd recommend Cosworth, but HKS is an interesting kit, too. If it's your DD, then yeah, supercharger as turbos tend to have a lot more to deal with in terms of issues. But, as someone may have said before, if you're not willing to fix it when any issues arise, don't do it. Just stick with a complete exhaust.

id miss my turbo noises! So SC is the more reliable DD setup? HKS V3 run 300whp reliably?

Also what about the new GReddy turbo kit i hear its making some sweet power, no idea on reliability

Greddy is also very nice JDM kit but AVO turbo seems to be more reliable for extra road resting map calibration. i do not say AVO is better than Greddy but personally prefer AVO because i guess tuning it is more easy.

again i recommend HKS because this engine need more efficient blower and i prefer less boost in lower rpms for both reliability and heat management.

go for HKS with moto-east tune.
reliable power at 319whp (HKS base 168whp) will make you smile :-)))

i am currently attempting to push the limits of this HKS compressor. i still have the v1 pipe lay out. but i am currently beefing up my heads and forging connecting rods to see what power this kit compressor can do. ill be running 14-17 psi. we arent sure what the pulley and removing the resctrictor pl;ate will give us. i was making 300, we were going to redo our own piping lay out but didnt have the budget for it. my goal is 380whp but i hyave a lot of supporting mods to the kit. the v3 is much more efficient than the v1

mod list:
hks v1 gt compressor kit
hks s type oil cooler
small pulley 14-17 psi
fic 660 injectors
dw65cc fuel pump
moto east flex fuel e85 kit
built heads/polished
lowered compression a .08-1.0 with cosworth head gaskets
skunk 2 h beam connecting rods
trd catch can

On HKS' website it says on the E85 map it will make 320whp on the base boost levels. That would be a great DD level is imagin? Makes ~270whp on 93

I've been looking around and I'm seeing the new GReddy turbo the T618z?? Is having some reliability problems but power looks great!
