Yup that sounds about right, as I recall a few people saying they couldn't get anything above 3500rpm usually.

Same here so far.. Probably gotta play with either the resume setting or the counters... Havent gone into it much yet, but on shifts I get some decent crackles above 3500 rpm

Hi, what about this?

Overrun Fueling RPM Resume Threshold will rich out the AFR from 7000rpm.
Base Timing Idle (In-Gear)(Above Threshold) will retard the ignition until 1000rpm.

This should bang-bang until 1000rpm if you just lift your foot.

I dont know, I didnt test it yet.

This should be the tables we are looking for in my opinion. It seems logical.

I'll try it if I get my car back out of its sleep.

I talked to a friend of mine (MTR Performance, check out at facebook!)
Hes very good at VAG Software (Audi TTRS, Golf 6R/7R,...)

VW Golf 7R e.g. are using this kind of overrun settings and the cars are sounding great at decelleration.

The overrun function is working perfectly. Just set the RPM delta to -10 or whatever and set a desired angle in the Base Timing Idle (in gear) table.

Unfortunately it seems that the pops and bangs trigger the knock sensor and the IAM is constantly kept at 0

Weird, i never had any knock due to this, with all kinds of different setting combos :/
IAM steady @ 1 after a couple hundred kms
