The FRS is going to be a collectors item in a few years and who knows, it might even appreciate in value

I would think that would be especially true for ones that had not been modified as they would be very rare.

And what's up with the new FRS not having a release button on the trunk lid (yet still there on the BRZ).

Button only comes with the push-to-start and proximity fob.
FR-S only comes with a keyhole for the boot.
Unless release series.

Or you could use the boot release on the key.

Yes, like mentioned above, that was an option on the brz. Some brzs need the key I think.
