I'm not really one to believe everything off the internet.

I know there are a ton of rumour/bullshit sites everywhere but Motortrend and Autoguide are sites that I do trust.

I've always hated explaining the Scion brand to people when asked about my FR-S: "ok so basically in the early 2000s, Toyota wanted a more youth-oriented brand blah blah blah Subaru makes the car blah blah blah".

Funny, it was this last Sunday that I was at a friend's house, helping her with some car shopping. We zeroed in on the iM because it's "a practical 4-door hatch that isn't a Mazda". Maybe she can get a deal on one as they go through the exit process.

There's the press release directly from Toyota.

FR-S looks like it will live on, with Toyota badges. No word on whether they'll keep it as FR-S or bring the name in line with the rest of the world (GT or GT86).
