16" tire size that would = 4.55 FD?
I've been browsing the posts related to swapping FD to 4.55 (+) gear sets for those of us who aren't going the FI route, and in the back of my head (and from a few other's posts) I'm thinking another route is smaller tires... what are the pros/cons ($ notwithstanding)?
I'm seriously considering 16" rims anyway (for track days); does anyone know what tire size to go for if I'd like the equivalent impact from a 4.55 FD swap? ... "math class is tough..." - Barbie/Mattel

tire height will need to be decreased but if you're going with 4.56 i'd keep the same tire height even with 16's.

Humm... yes. Math skills now engaged (such as they are)... for 10-12% reduction in circumference / rolling radius I'd need too crazy a tire size.
