16" tire size that would = 4.55 FD?

I've been browsing the posts related to swapping FD to 4.55 (+) gear sets for those of us who aren't going the FI route, and in the back of my head (and from a few other's posts) I'm thinking another route is smaller tires... what are the pros/cons ($ notwithstanding)?

I'm seriously considering 16" rims anyway (for track days); does anyone know what tire size to go for if I'd like the equivalent impact from a 4.55 FD swap?

tire height will need to be decreased but if you're going with 4.56 i'd keep the same tire height even with 16's.

You could do that but you would need a 215/35r/16 for example (this size is made up just to make a point) and honestly it would look really really odd haha.

Humm... yes. Math skills now engaged (such as they are)... for 10-12% reduction in circumference / rolling radius I'd need too crazy a tire size.
