Of these peak numbers, which one's the EL and which one's the UEL? Same tuner for these dynos.

Unless if you're talking about one of the Jesus headers (ACE, Nameless, PTuning), well-made, sub-$1K EL headers and UEL headers aren't *that* different in peak power after a tune.

Unequal length headers give the boxer rumble. But equal length give more power potential if you go boost later on. It's not a huge difference so if you want the rumble go UEL. Borla makes a good one. If you want catted though your options are limited.

I meant if he went supercharged later. The difference would be greater then correct?

It's not that dissimilar with supercharged cars, again excepting the reekris headers, and I suppose depending on whether it's positive displacement or centrifugal. It's more of an issue with turbocharged cars (although, most turbo kits come with their own exhaust manifold, the PTuning kit and the WORKS kit are two exceptions that come to mind).

But yeah, money being no object, get the ACE or Nameless. Those super long runners are great for scavenging. Otherwise, something well made like the JDL UEL or EL, Tomei UEL or EL, Gruppe-S UEL, etc... will work just fine.
