milltek exhaust

Just wanted to say I was in for getting a milltek system but just got quoted $1999 for a header back syste with titanium tips... thats nuts in my opion....

Double nuts..........search around, there are other systems out there for way less than that.

True but, Milltech sounds SOOOOO good!

Delete the Ti tips-- those things cost a fortune ($300-400 depending on if you wanted brushed or burnt). Also I wouldn't bother with a header-back setup unless you're going to do headers as well... you'll pick up a couple of horsepower and save a couple of pounds but I don't think it's really worth it on it's own given the cost increase over a catback.

A cat-back with stainless tips is a thousand bucks less.

That was the idea to do a borla uel header and exhaust but now im on the search for something other than milltek but not run of the mill

heh, the price range on this exhaust sounds a lot like my JDM Mugen twin loop on my old Prelude.

At least the Mugen twin loop is nicely TIG welded and doesn't look like a cheap DIY exhaust with clamps everywhere like a Milltek.
