I did my first figure 8 donuts in the parking lot here at work last week. I need more practice.

This is my second winter with the fr-s on blizzak ws80s and so far so good. I had my first experience playing around in a snow covered parking lot. It was day or so old snow that was pretty packed down. I was surprised how controllable the car was. Only drove once through a decent storm but had no issues.

I am in the NOVA area as well. I am still rocking Nitto INVO, so if you see a 10 series FRS, run away.

But I mean if this El Nino thing is really gonna be true then we're gonna get so much rain.
I remember like the second week of January you guys got a tornado warning over there in San Diego?!? Tornado & San Diego don't belong in the same sentence.
And there were actually a couple water spouts spotted off the coast of Cardiff!

Driving that day was bad, not so much due to the rain but the other people on the road. Some drivers were crawling along on the freeway at 30 mph, while others were speeding along at 70+ mph with their headlights off

lol that's so ridiculous. Wish I could've seen it in person but at the same time I'm glad I wasn't over there haha

Yeah exactly! When it rains, you get those certain people who will just drive normally as if it were completely dry, then you get the overly cautious ones who go 25mph on the freeway..

Driving in the snow is all about having the right tires. Forward to about the 3 minute mark and bail at about 4 - http://www.tetongravity.com/video/mo...on-a-ski-slope

There was a little marine layer on my commute this morning in Rancho Bernardo and it had the idiots on the 15 slowing down to look at it. The layer was well above ground(couple hundred feet up) so visibility was fantastic for anybody looking ahead instead of up. You know, like you should do when operating a motor vehicle.
