Japan Parts.

You know, I do have a single exit for sale right now

SINGLE EXIT EXHAUST

I've dabbled with the HKS HI Power and the Tf-Works Sport exhaust, both were a bit loud. The HKS was my favorite of the two but just too loud with a cat less header. I tried it with the jdl "ultra quite" front pipe and the stock front pipe. Both were crazy loud still.

Hmm. This post made me think .. which is THE quietest single exit exhaust on these cars? Can any of them be comparable to such as stock / Q300, to be usable with catless headers without getting too loud? Liking potential of weight reduction of single exhausts, and dual exit seems to me a bit more of a posing bling show that makes little practical sense for NA 2lr 4-cyl, but i wouldn't consider upgrading to any single exit ones if they have loudness issues.

I have the tanabe concept g, with stock headers and front pipe it's comparable to the q300. With with headers and catless front pipe it was unbearably loud.

Yup same here, tried pretty much every single exit out there (except Amuse,Blitz and other JDM exclusives) sucks how everything is too loud with a header. I did try to give them all a chance but before I got any exhaust noise tickets I would take them off and sell them or chicken out pretty much.

Yeah, this is relevant to my interests.

The only one I've seen that was quiet with catless headers is the LegSport Axle Back, but it's expensive and a little too blingy for me.

The Legsport axle back sounds great in person with just a catless header. That's actually the last one I'm willing to but the bullet on and try out.

I'm tempted to. With the yen down, it actually isn't *that* hateful to import.

I was certain the tf-works exhaust would do it for me. That set up I had a catted and resonated front pipe AND two resonators in the midpipe but was still loud as hell. After trying it with the stock front pipe I just gave up. Love the look of a single exit, especially the HKS, but it's just too damn loud. The cold starts were just outrageous.
