I've got RE-71Rs (stock size) and have found the wet weather perf to be surprisingly good, with a fairly even, progressive let-go when they do lose traction. But they do wear quickly for sure. After a good track day (dry) this weekend at Buttonwillow I was really happy with the overall grip and feel but noticed by the end of the day they were 'balling up' nicely -- pretty sure a couple more track days will prob finish them off.

Ended up ordering the RE71R's this evening from Americas Tire!

Went with the 255's. Hope this wasn't a mistake.

Thanks everyone for your input.

255s should be fine as long as you are on coils and can fit them.

i have the ventus v12 evo2 now and i like this set slightly better overall compared to when i was on the t1 sports. although i havent really driven yet in hard rain with the v12's, just minor rain and they feel better than the t1 sports did.

This right here, I have the ZIIs Star Specs in 255/40/17 and they hold up well and I fill confident in the rain with them.

You should be good. I'm running 17x9 +42 with 255/40, lowered on coils. Perfect fitment

Yeah, thanks to the fitment chart on this very subforum, it's been known that 17x9 +42 won't fit in front with a 255. 245 fits depending on the tire brand.

Lol, I thought you already had your coils installed! Why'd you try to install on stock suspension?

Sadface....

Went to install the ST's I received last week and realized they shipped the wrong model. So.... thought I would give it a shot with the wheels. Gonna have to wait another week to put them on after the correct coilovers arrive. It's okay though since I've got my camber arms en route also so I can just do it all at once.
