wow, yeah that is very interesting and I hope that solved the problem.

No real big updates beside that they just received all the parts and should have it done by the end of the day today to take it on a drive so I will know more information tomorrow.

In the mean time I've been driving a 2015 Rav 4 that they lent out to me.

I've been driving since around since Friday. Everything seems to be working great except a lot of the electronics got reset. Radio settings, stations, gear indicator. Nothing that wasn't fixed with minimal effort. I'm kinda of jealous you got a rav4 and I got the same exact loaner Corolla S twice. Only good thing about the Corolla was getting back in my car felt like I was driving an F1 car. Good luck bro, be sure to update.

Rav4 has been decent to me. It's everything that the FR-S isn't. It's; bigger, heavier, comfier, quieter, got a better sound system, and most of all... it has more torque.

Heres an update as of 12/9/15.

Yesterday they were able to replace the intake cam gear and other misc parts so they did an overnight drive and when they started it this morning the CEL came back. They are now going to go ahead and change out the entire ECU. Hopefully to be done by tomorrow or Friday. I should know more by tomorrow.

I've had the car now and after a trip down to Laguna Seca and SF and back I have put 350 miles on the car this weekend alone. I haven't seen any hesitation, loss of power, idle dipping, no weird start-ups, and no signs of a CEL. I do not want to jinx myself, but the car is running pretty smooth right now. Will still keep you guys posted if anything does come up.

I got the same code you had =( 33k miles, boosted since 25k with avo kit. No problems until now. It really sucks. I am planning on taking it to a shop that works on 86 platforms. Do you mind summarizing what might be the issue? Sensor, ecu, short circuit maybe?

Is yours a 2013?

On my car they seemed to be having loads and loads of problems with trying to figure it out;
Reflashed the ECU, light came back.
Replaced the sensor, light came back.
Replaced the cam gear on bank 2, light came back.
Replaced the ECU, no problems so far.
