The black "soot" is just unburnt fuel collecting in your exhaust pipes. Definately normal. Would rather have my car running rich rather than lean. Best thing you could do is tune your AFR and get a gauge to monitor your AFR.

Not it's not, it's just some paint stained on the floor from a project.

Normal....look at mine (I deleted the first cat when I did the UEL header). Also notice how the passenger tip is more dirty than the driver.

Now I cant wait to go home and check to see if I have a dirty TRD exhaust too. Only issue I saw was when real cold lots of water coming out of exhaust. Damn cat. 3 O2 + 2 CH2 ---> 2 CO2 + 2 H20

Water and microfiber towel... at least that works for me.

Hit the tail pipes with pressurized stream of water then watch it fly away... lol

I just cant get over the fact that someone would clean the tailpipe. I admit that I live in the opposite quadrant of the universe when it comes to washing a car, but seriously, cleaning the tailpipe?

I have a life.

I'll do it sometimes if I hand wash my car (which is MAYBE once a month during spring/summer, and only if its 28*C or warmer) and I remember to do it. But for the most part, I just usually forget about it because it doesn't bother me at all..

Yep. All tests show it well under the permitted emissions.
