And launch is when the axles are under the most load... there is some load still once it's hooked up and rolling, but not nearly as much as the initial launch.

I got lucky and missed all the important stuff. All I have left now that it's healed is some uncomfy scar tissue.

R200 is a great choice - S13, S14, R32, Z32 NA and a bunch of other Nissan cars use it. Not sure you needed to pick up the GTR subframe to get it done, but it certainly brings that j-spec street cred with it.
