Marks on Glass

Anyone know why these two streaks keep showing, even after I clean my windows? Maybe it's something inside the door panel? Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1446495760.615507.jpg

Is this the first time you had a car? Are you under 20?
Do you love to roll down your window immediately after you wash them?

First time I've paid for a car in cash worth over $20,000.
I'm 21.
I do not roll my windows down immediately after I wash them.

These steaks still appear long after a wash, through dust settling on the window.

You want to be helpful or make another snarky comment?

Off by one year!!!!

Yes and yes,
Have you tried cleaning the inside of the window guide?(the squeeze looking things) It's a bit tricky a plastic flexible ruler with a damp cloth works.

And snarky comment: window 101 logic, if it's streaking it's the rubbery guides on the base of the window. Everyone since about 1960 knows.

Thank you for the knowledge, I'll try that approach.

The windows ride on a felt pad that is over a metal square piece. The felt pad on mine actually slid off and put two parallel scratches all the way down the window.
Those two streaks are just the part of the glass that rides on that felt

holy shit, if I had that kind of cash, I would have financed it and invested the cash for major profit by the time I retire. Well, that would only work if the loan had a relatively low, fixed interest rate.

I was a ghost in the credit system. Wish I could have financed it, tried several banks and credit institutions. Perhaps I could have found someone to fund me but I got tired of waiting.

I'll settle with the streaks instead of the scratches and leave them be. Lol.

keep your car clean and you won't notice the streaks. it's a sign to tell you to wash your car.

I'm just playing with you, but really though I would take off the door card and see if the window is rubbing against anything, which it seems like it is.

Weird, I was a ghost too but was able to finance after putting down a huge downpayment...

Well, at least you got the car!
