Yeah, it's light weight & it's bang for a buck for sure. Just I don't want to loose too much weight from the rear

Did you pick up this exhaust?

I think it's a Tanabe, Hks or Tomei for me. I just don't want to spend like 1.1k on a Tomei exhaust.

I did not, I had it on my RSX-S before. I thought it sounded similar, from the clips.

I'm planning on getting the T1R, most probably.

Just out of curiosity, are you FI? If not, why go with the type 80? It's overkill for an N/A car so you aren't really gaining anything and it's heavier than the type 60x.

I plan on fabricating my own turbo setup in the future and I never liked the rasp of the type 60. I don't want my car to sound like jake brakes and the type 80 had the deep rumble I was looking for.

IMO the greatest single exit = Kakimoto GT1.0Z

Fart can is not to big, got just the right angle, sound great and not that expensive.

Note that the silencer is optional and you really want it if you run on a de-cat headers.

Quality is really there but you need to be patient since they are made to order. Tip is TI and change color with time, it's all blue now !

Sound clip from Kakimoto (weird format, VLC should play it!): http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/movi...b11344_zc6.wvx

Thanks. I missed it.

Just searched in JapanParts. $508 + shipping. Hm... interesting.

How's the clearance? Does it scrap/hit the bottom when you go through the bump?
