Just picked up the car the day before that event.

Probably like others, the first thing that came to mind was the paint job but the it actually doesn't look that bad for a 100% track car.

I'll probably never own an ITR considering how much a clean and well maintained example goes for but it was the car that got me into Hondas. I skipped a few steps and went straight to a brand new AP2.

Yeah. Gsr track car sold and replaced by this car. White mr2 might go just to make garage space. Although I might rent a storage unit for the cars lol

Bad ass car! A buddy of mine in Dallas is in the middle of purchasing a '97 ITR from Canada. Don't quote me until I can verify it, but I believe it won some 2015 Time Attack Challenge driven by the soon-to-be PO. One of the best (if not the best) fwd cars from all I've read. Unfortunately the closest I've come to driving one, was the GSR's a lot of my friend's owned back in the day...

Not surprised it was stolen and stripped. I knew a guy who got one of the first ones delivered to my area when they were new. He was afraid to even leave it parked at a restaurant. People were breaking into garages to steal those things before you could get used (B18c5?) engines.

That still happens today sadly. People who steal them can't afford a 4k swap in the first place.

would it be cheaper to build a b18c1 with type R internals then to do a full b18c5 swap? Just curious as my cousin has a gsr shell in supersonic blue that I might take from him.

Would it be more fun to take something like a Spec Ford Racer or an ITR around the track?
