Made the switch - Subaru 2016 WRX

So I made the switch from the BRZ to a WRX. Reason for switching is I needed something with 4 doors and able to drive downtown without cursing everytime I hit a pothole.. Also the extra power was a bonus. Sold the BRZ in early August and picked up WRX in early October. Got employee pricing on a 24-month lease as well so i guess this was a no-brainer..

Pics don't work.

But cool. Quite a few other people on the forum here have made the switch.

Cool, nice progression.

Seems like its the BMW, WRX or Porsche that former owners move on to

You know... I began to question my purchase, as I'm planning on moving to one of the Carolinas, and wanted 4 doors. But... ugh still owe on my car. Plus I've put a lot into it so I'd lose even more. But at least it suits you! I do like the new WRX more than the STI.

If you are moving to the Carolinas then hang on to the twin long enough to do the Tail of the Dragon and some of the other mountain roads in the western Carolinas. You may change your mind on wanting something different but even if you don't, driving those roads in a car that is built for just that purpose will be an experience you will remember forever.

I've heard of this run. And I'm sure it would be a blast

Strange. I want to trade in my 15 WRX for next year BRZ, Miata or Abarth 124. I have Camry to do the beater job.

How is that strange? Different strokes for different folks. All dependent on preference and needs lol
